How To Remove Lily & Fox Nail Wraps

Our nail wraps are designed for simple application, using an adhesive formula that ensures long-lasting results, with a durability of up to 2 weeks without the need for heat.

Nevertheless, we have strived to guarantee that they remove effortlessly in a single piece without leaving any glue residue or resulting in staining or harm to your nails.

We offer two effective ways to remove the wraps, with one method being all natural and gentle on the hands. Here are the steps for both techniques.

Step 1 - Using Nail Polish Remover

You'll require:

  • Nail polish remover
  • Cotton buds / tissue
  • Just in case, include a cuticle pusher.

The Steps

  1. Use a tiny portion of cotton bud, then immerse it into the nail polish remover.

  2. Apply this to every nail (we process one hand at a time)

  3. Let the nail polish remover do its job for a moment (be patient and the wrap will come off easily - typically 3-5 minutes is sufficient!).

  4. Push the cotton pad down from your cuticle toward the end of the nail, allowing the wrap to slide off in a single movement without causing any rubbing or damage to your nail. If the wrap remains stuck, you may carefully use a cuticle pusher to gently remove it, ensuring you push away from your nail bed to prevent potential nail damage in case of slipping.

Pro Tip: Nail polish remover may cause some dryness to your nails, therefore we suggest applying hand moisturizer following this procedure.

Process # 2 - Applying Warm Water, Coconut Oil, or Lemon Juice

You’ll need:

  • Warm (not hot!) Coconut Oil and lemon juice or warm water
  • A small bowl
  • Cuticle pusher

The Steps:

  1. Place a small quantity of warm water and lemon or coconut oil into a bowl.

  2. Submerge your nails in the liquid for a few minutes.

  3. If the wrap begins to detach from your nail, gently lift it using your cuticle pusher along the side of the nail.

  4. The wrap must effortlessly come off. If there is a residue left on your nail, use a tissue to remove it.

  5. Your next wrap application will be ready, as your hands will be lovely and soft!

We wish this guide would make it simple for you to take off your nail wraps, perfectly timed for your upcoming Lily & Fox manicure.
